Head of Talent Acquisition

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the duration from client agreement to candidate placement.

• Maintain a roster of fully vetted, interview-ready candidates.

• Lead a team comprising an operations coordinator, recruiters/screeners, and sourcing support.

• Set productivity benchmarks and scorecards.

• Ensure high-quality placements and a 90-day retention rate.

• Manage the JazzHR ATS pipeline, sourcing channels, and candidate experience.

• Enhance monthly placements while upholding quality standards.

• Broaden the range of roles filled as the business evolves.

• Review the current pipeline, bench, and screening methodologies.

• Reconstruct the candidate bench to prevent delays for signed clients awaiting sourcing.

• Establish daily and weekly routines for ongoing searches.

• Report directly to the founder and oversee delivery-side operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in recruitment with proven leadership capabilities.

• Background in managing an agency, branch, or permanent desk with P&L or billing responsibilities.

• Experience in overseeing recruiters and maintaining quality under time constraints.

• Data-oriented understanding of placements per month, fill times, and attrition rates.

• Calm, organized, decisive, and adept at prioritization.

• Comfortable working US-aligned hours in a remote setting.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools for screening, sourcing, and expediting recruitment processes.

• Capable of reengineering flawed processes or scaling up a partially developed function.

• Experience placing candidates with clients in the US, UK, or Australia is highly preferred.
