📋 Description

• Contribute to and steer the long-term research and development strategy, technological direction, and product advancement.

• Assist in the development of architectural principles and technology roadmaps.

• Lead and cultivate engineering leadership teams across various disciplines.

• Aid in guiding organizational transformation, including modernization initiatives and delivery practices.

• Oversee delivery across product lines, ensuring consistent quality and performance.

• Facilitate planning, prioritization, and release processes throughout the R&D department.

• Assist in tracking and enhancing key delivery metrics, such as quality, predictability, and system health.

• Contribute to strategies aimed at maintaining and improving existing systems, including managing technical debt.

• Support the design of team structures, frameworks for career development, and capability enhancement.

• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and learning-driven engineering culture.

• Engage in talent development, mentoring, and succession planning.

• Participate in leadership discussions regarding performance, priorities, and risks.

• Contribute to R&D planning, including budget and investment considerations.

• Support a balanced approach to prioritizing new development alongside ongoing maintenance.

• Assist in monitoring and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering operations.

• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Support, and Professional Services teams to align objectives.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams and regions.

• Represent the engineering department in internal and external discussions as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams or multiple technical functions.

• Experience in software development, system integration, or cloud-based environments.

• Proven track record in contributing to technical strategy, platform evolution, or modernization initiatives.

• Experience working with distributed or international teams is advantageous.

• Ability to balance strategic thought with operational execution.

• Experience supporting technology roadmaps and product development planning.

• Familiarity with modern architectures, including cloud-native and service-oriented systems.

• Capability to collaborate with stakeholders across both technical and non-technical domains.

• Strong communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Relevant leadership experience in engineering or R&D settings.

• Collaborative and inclusive leadership approach.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.

• Clear and thoughtful communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Enthusiasm for building and supporting high-performing teams.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
