Head of Quantitative Trading – iGaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Lead and build a quantitative team that focuses on in-play and pre-match pricing models, as well as risk and liability models, and trading automation.

• Take ownership of models related to bet builder and same-game pricing, cash-out valuation, personalization, and market availability.

• Collaborate with the VP R&D Trading and Chief Trading Officer to define the automation sequence.

• Identify which markets, sports, and processes should be prioritized for automation and establish the necessary evidence at each stage.

• Ensure model quality concerning margin, hold, price accuracy, and market availability.

• Work in partnership with R&D trading teams and the AI core to implement models and create the supporting data platform.

• Transform the human trader's role to focus on model supervision and exception handling.

• Provide autonomous in-play football pricing, automated risk and liability limits, a structured automation roadmap, enhanced product pricing, and a reimagined trading operating model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing or managing automated pricing and risk models on a large scale.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in sportsbook or high-frequency trading models.

• Extensive quantitative expertise in statistics, machine learning, and stochastic modeling.

• Proficient hands-on modeling skills.

• Experience in transitioning pricing models from research phases to live production environments.

• Familiarity with the operational and cultural aspects of model-driven trading.

• Strong measurement capabilities and ability to assess model performance prior to production deployment.

• An AI-first mindset in modeling, research, and development.

• Established credibility with both traders and engineers.
