This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Establish Amplitude’s comprehensive product marketing strategy and narrative across analytics, Statsig, and proactive Agents.
• Create distinctive positioning and bring the company's vision to fruition.
• Spearhead go-to-market strategies for key products and launches, encompassing positioning, messaging, launch strategies, enablement, customer validation, and adoption.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to market products and their capabilities.
• Build and mentor a high-performing, AI-native product marketing team.
• Define team priorities, operational cadence, and quality benchmarks.
• Enhance the strategic and storytelling skills of product marketing managers.
• Acquire profound insights into customers, competitors, and the market.
• Provide customer and market insights to Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to influence product development and experimentation.
• Collaborate across functions with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive leadership.
• Over 10 years of experience in product marketing.
• Extensive experience in leading product marketing strategies for technical, enterprise, SaaS, developer, data, or AI/ML products.
• Proven track record in leading and developing a product marketing team while being an effective hands-on individual contributor.
• Demonstrated success in defining product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and major product launches across a multi-product portfolio in complex or rapidly changing markets.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and executive leadership.
• Strong technical product marketing expertise.
• Capability to quickly grasp complex systems such as data, analytics, AI/ML, or developer platforms.
• Ability to establish credibility with engineering teams and translate technical features into clear, differentiated market narratives.
• Player-coach mentality.
• AI-native perspective and insights on how AI is transforming products.
• Exceptional storytelling skills for diverse audiences.
• High level of agency.
