This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Lead product management and define the strategic direction for the Validus platform.
• Supervise the product vision, innovation, design, development, and overall management.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to formulate and implement product strategy and roadmap.
• Propel feature initiatives from initial concept to production release and go-to-market strategies.
• Balance system enhancements, manage technical debt, and align long-term vision with ongoing tasks.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Validus platform's operations and architecture.
• Keep abreast of capital markets, compliance regulations, risk management practices, competitive dynamics, and SaaS trends.
• Examine customer usage patterns and convert insights into actionable product strategy.
• Analyze market segments, customer groups, and monitor competitive and technological trends.
• Identify tactical customer solutions and suggest systematic enhancements to the platform.
• Develop and productize dynamic reporting for customers via UI and/or API.
• Spot technology opportunities and methodologies that will benefit teams and customers alike.
• Champion the needs of relationship managers and developers to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Collaborate with engineers to navigate design trade-offs while ensuring timely product releases.
• Assist in the creation of sales and marketing materials, such as presentations, white papers, competitive briefings, demonstrations, data sheets, and FAQs.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in senior or executive product management within capital markets, preferably with a fintech focus.
• In-depth knowledge of product trends in capital markets and trade surveillance.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong data-driven reporting and analytical skills.
• Capability to communicate effectively with technical, legal, compliance, and front-office stakeholders.
• Subject-matter expertise in equities and futures.
• Experience with or interest in digital assets, FX, fixed income, and/or prediction markets.
• Proven track record of collaborating with technology teams on dynamic software applications.
• Familiarity with third-party surveillance systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
