This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +3 more countries.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive platform experience throughout the primary client journey, ensuring smooth transitions between different platform areas.
• Detect underperforming client experiences and implement corrective measures.
• Manage regulatory and compliance responsibilities as part of product requirements, collaborating with legal, tax, and local teams.
• Convert platform strategy and business priorities into a prioritized action plan.
• Contribute prioritization efforts to the unified roadmap managed by the SVP of Product.
• Advise on what features to develop, postpone, or discontinue, securing leadership consensus.
• Create business cases for substantial investments, detailing value, payback, and trade-offs.
• Align commercial priorities with Directors of Product.
• Be accountable for timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Partner with engineering and design leadership throughout the ideation to release phases.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and legal teams to ensure launches are understandable, marketable, supportable, and compliant.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks while managing dependencies.
• Develop a continuous understanding of customer and internal pain points as well as opportunities.
• Base product decisions on client insights, usage metrics, and market data.
• Enhance discovery and validation standards across teams.
• Define anticipated outcomes for investments and ensure the realization of delivered value.
• Oversee platform NPS and adoption rates for the primary journey.
• Serve as the product authority in high-level client and prospect discussions and represent the platform publicly.
• Directly manage product managers.
• Set clear expectations, offer constructive feedback, and address performance challenges.
• Mentor product managers and enhance their skill sets.
• Promote AI adoption where it yields optimal outcomes.
• A minimum of eight years in product management, with at least five years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience guiding product managers in a B2B SaaS or platform environment.
• Proven ability to oversee a multi-team product area from start to finish, with accountability for delivery and the value provided.
• History of clearly defining expected investment returns upfront and documenting realized outcomes.
• Experience in developing products within a regulated context.
• Technical acumen to discuss architecture, platform scalability, and data issues with engineering leadership.
• A solid track record of nurturing and developing product managers.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams across various countries and time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable, transparent, and enjoyable to collaborate with.
• Familiarity with the HR sector is preferred but not essential.
