Head of Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product for all user interactions, including Zodl and future offerings, while excluding the Zcash protocol and Zallet.

• Define the product research and development agenda and report directly to the CEO, working alongside the Head of Engineering.

• Establish the Product function that ensures consistent decision-making across products.

• Translate strategic objectives into actionable implementations.

• Collaborate with Design to refine solutions prior to development.

• Develop product specifications that provide clear guidance to Engineering.

• Align Engineering, Design, Marketing, Support, Partnerships, and Product R&D around common goals.

• Foster collaborative planning as the product portfolio expands.

• Create straightforward systems that enhance clarity without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

• Integrate strategy, customer insights, market knowledge, partnership possibilities, and technical viewpoints.

• Assist the organization in determining what to develop and the rationale behind it.

• Enhance planning, product decision-making, and organizational cohesion.

• Increase ownership over time as capabilities, context, judgment, and trust evolve.

• Have successfully launched consumer products that are widely used by the general public.

• Possess a solid understanding of cryptocurrency to form informed opinions and identify what mainstream users may reject.

• Advocate for individuals' rights to manage their own finances without needing permission.

• Experience in scaling financial products.

• Developed product capabilities rather than solely managing project timelines.

• Transition smoothly between high-level strategy and everyday execution.

• Recognize when processes add value versus when they create obstacles.

• Make informed decisions even with incomplete information.
