This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Define the strategic direction and ongoing development of TwinStream’s products.
• Integrate customer requirements, business prospects, technical knowledge, and implementation experience to establish a definitive product vision.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, delivery, platform, service, and commercial teams.
• Recognize significant challenges, outline desired results, and assist teams in making informed investment choices.
• Advocate for reusable and configurable product features over unnecessary bespoke solutions for customers.
• Simplify product understanding, adoption, deployment, operation, support, and extension.
• Own and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Convert insights from customers, users, commercial interests, and technical aspects into prioritized product outcomes.
• Establish product principles and guidelines.
• Keep abreast of market trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities.
• Enhance and distinguish TwinStream’s product offerings.
• Maintain awareness of customers, users, prospects, and operational contexts.
• Identify ongoing customer demands that could evolve into reusable core product features.
• Support commercial and business development efforts with product positioning and roadmap context.
• Uphold the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) in the Cross Domain space and conduct SWOT analysis of the product.
• Maintain and modify an outcome-oriented roadmap.
• Balance customer obligations, future prospects, security, product sustainability, technical debt, operational efficiency, and risk management.
• Prioritize investments and make trade-offs clear.
• Ensure visibility of priorities, dependencies, assumptions, and decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Oversight, delivery, and engineering teams to clarify issues, outcomes, and product context.
• Shape initiatives, epics, and features without dictating specific technical solutions.
• Provide timely product decisions and eliminate delivery uncertainties.
• Promote experimentation, iterative delivery, and early validation.
• Ensure that completed capabilities meet the intended outcomes for customers and products.
• Safeguard product integrity and coherence across various components, customers, and implementations.
• Encourage common patterns, reusable features, and standardized practices.
• Take into account security, maintainability, usability, supportability, observability, and operational costs.
• Advocate for automation, self-service, and repeatable deployment and configuration practices.
• Highlight product maintenance, lifecycle management, and technical sustainability in prioritization.
• Identify operational pain points for simplification, standardization, or productization.
• Build trusted relationships across customers, engineering, architecture, delivery, platform engineering, service management, and business development.
• Communicate product direction, priorities, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate discussions around customer demand, delivery limitations, and strategic priorities.
• Provide leadership with insights into product progress, risks, opportunities, and decisions.
• Foster alignment without reliance on hierarchical structures or excessive governance.
• Must be based in the UK.
• Eligible for DV clearance.
• Meet the residency and right-to-work requirements set by the UK Government for the required clearance level.
• Experience in a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar product leadership role.
• Background in the cyber security sector, preferably with exposure to cross-domain environments.
• Proven experience in developing product strategies, roadmaps, and prioritization methodologies.
• Experience managing platforms, infrastructure, or complex software products.
• Strong grasp of outcome-focused and user-centered product management.
• Ability to comprehend intricate customer and operational challenges.
• Experience translating customer-specific requirements into reusable product functionalities.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management, technical debt, and software sustainability.
• Comfortable collaborating with software engineering, architecture, and delivery teams.
• Capable of making balanced decisions amidst incomplete evidence or conflicting priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience in bridging customer, commercial, and technical viewpoints.
• Collaborative mindset enabling teams to make informed decisions rather than directing every detail.
• Ability to convey challenging prioritization choices clearly and constructively.
• Experience in enterprise, government, defense, or other heavily regulated sectors is advantageous.
• Familiarity with secure software delivery, DevSecOps, cloud platforms, or service operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of product discovery, service design, or user-research techniques is beneficial.
• Experience utilizing evidence, metrics, and feedback to evaluate product performance is advantageous.
• Experience working across multiple delivery teams or product components is helpful.
