This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the main strategic People partner to the CEO and executive leadership team.
• Lead initiatives in organizational design, focusing on team structure, role clarity, spans and layers, and overall organizational effectiveness.
• Formulate and implement workforce planning strategies that align with business priorities and growth objectives.
• Propel performance management, succession planning, and talent review processes.
• Manage executive recruiting strategies and collaborate with leaders on critical hiring decisions and talent assessments.
• Guide leaders through organizational change, employee relations, leadership challenges, and enhancing team effectiveness.
• Design and execute leadership development and manager capability programs.
• Utilize people analytics and business data to pinpoint organizational risks, guide decisions, and evaluate the effectiveness of people programs.
• Assess and refine People processes, systems, and operational models, emphasizing the strategic use of automation and AI.
• Provide leadership and developmental support for the People team while ensuring operational excellence across HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Compliance, and Employee Experience.
• Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and oversee the People & Culture and Recruiting teams.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources, including spearheading the People function for an expanding organization.
• Experience managing Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development functions.
• Proven track record of collaborating with CEOs and executive leadership teams on organizational strategy.
• Extensive expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management.
• Strong background in executive coaching and leadership development.
• Experience in leading organizational change, restructures, and scaling organizations during growth or transformation phases.
• In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in developing and enhancing people processes using data and metrics.
• Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Advanced HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
• Bonus: Experience providing support to employees in Canada, with an understanding of provincial employment laws, especially in British Columbia and Ontario.
• Must reside in the United States; ChowNow is not authorized to employ in all states.
• Estimated base salary ranging from $197,000 to $245,000.
