This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the People Operations and Human Resources functions throughout the organization.
β’ Create scalable HR policies, processes, and internal documentation to support company growth.
β’ Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.
β’ Manage employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
β’ Design and oversee performance reviews, manager enablement, and people metrics.
β’ Take charge of onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HRIS, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
β’ Keep the employee handbook, company policies, and employment documentation updated.
β’ Work alongside Recruiting to ensure compliant hiring practices and enhance the new hire experience.
β’ Coordinate employment-based immigration processes in collaboration with outside counsel.
β’ Collaborate with Finance on compensation benchmarking, promotions, leveling, and equity administration.
β’ Partner with Compliance on security, confidentiality, onboarding, and access control related to personnel.
β’ Advise managers and executives on organizational design, leadership development, employee relations, and change management.
β’ Propel strategic People initiatives to facilitate effective company scaling.
β’ A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification is preferred.
β’ 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources or People Operations, demonstrating ownership of core HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, employment compliance, benefits, and HR operations.
β’ Practical experience in managing benefits administration, leave management, payroll coordination, employee records, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS administration, and necessary employment documentation.
β’ Proven experience in building or scaling People Operations within a rapidly growing technology company.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience in handling complex employee relations issues, including performance challenges, terminations, workplace complaints, investigations, and conflict resolution.
β’ In-depth understanding of U.S. employment law, compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices.
β’ Experience collaborating with Legal on employment-related matters and organizational compliance.
β’ Familiarity with employment-based immigration processes.
β’ Experience in designing and administering company-wide performance management programs, encompassing performance reviews, manager guidance, performance improvement, and promotion processes.
β’ Experience in developing or managing compensation and leveling frameworks, including benchmarking, salary decisions, promotions, and equity programs.
β’ Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
β’ Capability to function effectively in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
β’ Preferred: experience in supporting rapidly scaling organizations; managing distributed or multi-state workforces; establishing People Operations outside the U.S.; knowledge of Rippling, BambooHR, Workday, or similar HRIS platforms; SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification.
