This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Manage our existing organic accounts independently for the initial few months.

• Develop our delivery strategy: recurring creator pods, weekly posting systems, and repurposing our user-generated content and paid assets for organic reach.

• Create the offer package, including scopes, rate cards, and audits that can be sold multiple times.

• Recruit strategists, producers, and editors as the business expands, providing effective leadership.

• Take ownership of the metrics. Report on organic performance like a performance marketer would: focusing on growth, engagement, and how it contributes to paid initiatives.

• Collaborate with sales and account teams on pitches, audits, and upselling opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Envision an internal social team: marketers who create their own content.

• You are deeply engaged with these platforms. You're aware of which trends, sounds, and formats are gaining traction and which ones have lost relevance.

• You have hands-on experience running organic social, either in a lean in-house team or at an agency, and have successfully grown accounts yourself rather than overseeing others.

• You are at a lead level, not just a senior position in a large company. We value your experience in setting creative direction, consistently delivering, and your desire to build a department based on effective practices.

• You are comfortable working with creators: briefing, directing, and establishing repeatable systems around user-generated content talent.

• You thrive in ambiguity. There is no established process here yet; you will be creating it.

• Bonus points if you possess agency experience managing multiple brands simultaneously, or enough knowledge of paid social to facilitate a synergistic relationship between organic and paid strategies.
