This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of your work, not just supervise it. You will personally manage one self-sourced strategic account from start to finish as its Directly Responsible Individual (DRI), while also actively engaging with representatives across the four to five most complex ongoing deals, providing guidance from within the deal rather than from the sidelines.
• Act as Ambience's authority on structuring, navigating, and securing major deals with large health systems. You will design the account strategies, stakeholder maps, and deal structures that the team will implement, remaining personally involved in the deals where your presence or connections can influence the outcome.
• Open doors by utilizing an existing network of C-suite executives within health systems to expedite Ambience's access to targeted accounts, bringing the team into these relationships rather than simply transferring them.
• Establish the operating rhythm and deal review process that enables the team to triage strategic deals in real-time.
• Collaborate across departments such as Value Attainment, Clinical Solutions, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to align on strategic accounts and ensure that each deal is supported by the appropriate internal resources.
• Actively oversee and mentor the strategic accounts team, continuously developing the team structure, hiring strategy, and operational model over time.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise healthcare sales or strategic account leadership, with substantial involvement in deals with the largest health systems in the nation.
• Proven history of participating in closing $5M+ deals with multi-stakeholder, multi-year sales cycles—either by personally leading or by architecting the strategy that led to the deal's success.
• Established relationships with C-suite leaders in health systems (CEO, CMO, CIO, CFO) that you can leverage immediately.
• Experienced in navigating complex health system procurement processes, including IT governance, clinical governance, legal evaluations, and board-level approvals.
• Strong comprehension of health system operations, clinical workflows, and the healthcare technology landscape.
• Experience in building, mentoring, or significantly enhancing a strategic accounts or enterprise sales team—not just managing a personal portfolio.
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
• 401(k) plan with a company match of up to 3% of your base salary.
• A remote-friendly culture (with a headquarters in San Francisco) and full equipment provision to ensure you can work effectively from your location.
• Parental leave to accommodate family needs.
• Annual company-wide off-sites, team retreats, and regular team lunches and all-hands gatherings, with travel, lodging, and meals covered.
• Flexible time off with no annual limit, along with company-wide holidays and an annual holiday shutdown from December 24 to January 1 to promote genuine rest and long-term sustainability.
