This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement and enhance the Go To Market Strategy.
• Identify and establish connections with target customers, including high-end hotels, select commercial and industrial sites, and prominent events.
• Develop and sustain a targeted early pipeline of high-potential accounts.
• Facilitate discovery discussions to comprehend load profiles, limitations, and purchasing processes.
• Cultivate multi-faceted relationships across facilities, sustainability, and finance sectors.
• Position the company as a trusted, long-term collaborator.
• Co-create initial deployments.
• Convert customer requirements into defined pilots and deployments regarding size, configuration, and integration.
• Collaborate closely with the team on feasibility, economics, and deployment timelines.
• Synchronize expectations regarding timelines, responsibilities, and success metrics.
• Contribute to the long-term strategic vision.
• Analyze patterns among early customers: who makes purchases, what they prioritize, and what obstacles they encounter.
• Provide insights to inform the product roadmap, pricing/contract frameworks, and market positioning.
• Assist in developing a repeatable and scalable commercial approach.
• 3–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or similar commercial roles, with a focus in one of the following areas:
• Distributed solar or microgrids.
• Electric vehicle charging.
• Other on-site energy or building infrastructure solutions.
• Physical systems and services, not exclusively software as a service.
• Emerging markets experience.
• Some direct or related experience with:
• High-end hotels or hospitality sectors.
• Commercial and industrial customers with significant on-site energy loads.
• Real estate developers.
• Experience in selling complex, first-of-a-kind deployments.
• Background in an early-stage company or in launching and scaling a new business division within an established organization.
• Proficiency in ground-level project scoping, including permitting and installation as part of the delivery process.
• Ability to anticipate customer lifecycle, economic factors, and expansion opportunities.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills to serve as a trusted advisor rather than merely achieving quotas.
• Capability to distill customer insights into actionable product and strategy recommendations.
