Head of Legal Outsourcing Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage a globally distributed team comprising around fourteen lawyers and paralegals.

• Establish systematic people management practices, including consistent one-on-ones, clear feedback, professional growth, and strategic alignment.

• Revamp the drafting and review workflows for non-disclosure agreements through the utilization of artificial intelligence.

• Define and implement the operational framework for AI-enhanced workflows.

• Identify, define, and initiate additional contract review and drafting services that can be profitably scaled.

• Broaden the function from a singular service line into a wider array of service offerings.

• Take ownership of turnaround times, quality benchmarks, and client-facing results.

• Serve as a direct business partner to the Managing Partner, Head of Firm Management, and revenue-generating partners.

• Assume complete responsibility for the outsourcing team and enhance productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten years of experience in legal practice, legal operations, or corporate and commercial legal services, with significant expertise in contract work.

• Direct experience with non-disclosure agreements and U.S. commercial contracts is highly preferred, particularly in a private equity or financial services setting.

• Availability to work in alignment with U.S. Eastern business hours.

• Proven track record of building or transforming functions from a manual state into a structured, metrics-driven operation.

• Ability to clearly articulate personal contributions to transformation initiatives.

• Genuine proficiency in artificial intelligence.

• Capability to design and implement AI-enabled workflows rather than just operating existing tools; this will be directly assessed.

• Experience in leading distributed teams.
