Head of Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and manage multi-cloud Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS and GCP.

• Implement and uphold HIPAA/SOC2 compliance throughout the entire technology stack.

• Develop, review, and deploy Infrastructure as Code utilizing Pulumi.

• Create observability and incident response pipelines for metrics, logs, traces, and notifications.

• Establish technical infrastructure standards for the engineering team.

• Manage production incidents from detection to postmortem analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with production infrastructure in a regulated setting (HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, or equivalent).

• Familiarity with audits and compliance controls.

• Extensive Kubernetes knowledge with experience in running production workloads.

• Multi-cloud expertise with AWS and GCP.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code in production using Pulumi or Terraform.

• Background in building monitoring, alerting, and on-call systems.

• Currently or recently engaged with production infrastructure.

• Director-level individual contributor role; no management of personnel required.
