This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of and advance the total compensation philosophy, frameworks, and programs to align with business growth and talent goals.
• Develop, manage, and continuously enhance compensation initiatives, which encompass salary structures, job architecture, career levels, incentive plans, and compensation policies in various countries, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, and others.
• Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to guarantee competitive compensation practices in global markets.
• Collaborate with Finance and business leaders to formulate compensation recommendations that maintain a balance between market competitiveness, internal equity, and budgetary considerations.
• Oversee annual compensation planning activities, such as merit cycles, promotions, market adjustments, and compensation budgeting.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes to ensure compliance of compensation practices with relevant laws and regulations.
• Devise and implement a competitive equity strategy and policies across different roles and countries.
• Keep precise records of grants, vesting schedules, exercises, and equity holdings while ensuring the integrity of data across systems.
• Create educational materials and communications to assist team members in understanding the value of equity and ownership within the company.
• Prepare materials for and provide recommendations to the Compensation Committee.
• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in compensation or total rewards supporting global organizations, ideally in a startup setting.
• Extensive knowledge in compensation program design and administration, covering salary structures, job architecture, leveling frameworks, market benchmarking, and annual compensation cycles.
• Experience in managing equity compensation programs, including grant administration, reporting, and employee education.
• Strong business and financial insight, with the capability to convert data into actionable recommendations and influence decision-making processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the talent to effectively influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Proven track record of building and scaling compensation programs in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Successfully thrived in dynamic, fast-paced startup settings, exhibiting the agility and enthusiasm to adapt swiftly, address various challenges, and contribute positively to a high-energy team.
• Familiarity with HR tech stack and equity administration platforms; preferably Rippling, Remote, and Carta.
