This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for Sardine’s fraud product offerings.
• Balance the urgent needs of customers with the long-term vision for innovation in device intelligence, behavioral biometrics, and machine learning.
• Lead a skilled team of product managers.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, data science, risk operations, and go-to-market teams.
• Partner with leaders in Engineering and Data Science to convert intricate fraud typologies into precise, low-latency models and product features.
• Drive enhancements in products to optimize fraud detection rates while reducing false positives and user friction for merchants.
• Keep an eye on emerging fraud trends, account takeover strategies, synthetic identity creation, and the capabilities of competitors.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to delineate product positioning, value propositions, and materials to support sales efforts.
• Manage the comprehensive product lifecycle for fraud solutions.
• Over 10 years of experience in product management, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity overseeing other PMs.
• Extensive, hands-on experience in payment fraud within a rapidly growing payment processor, fraud vendor, or merchant environment.
• Previous experience at a specialized fraud vendor or a B2B SaaS startup.
• Strong ability to work with large datasets.
• Proficient in defining, monitoring, and optimizing complex risk metrics (e.g., recall, precision, approval rates).
• Demonstrated success in bringing zero-to-one products to market and scaling them for enterprise use.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of conveying intricate technical and risk-related concepts to both highly technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite clients.
• Personally managed a payment fraud, buyer fraud, or transaction risk product for a minimum of 3 years.
• Experience in a fraud role at a payment processor or at a specialized fraud vendor.
