This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Pearson’s national Higher Education Executive Sales Specialist organization across various regional and specialty teams.

• Establish the vision, operational framework, and performance strategy for the ESS organization.

• Serve as the connection between national strategy and field implementation.

• Direct ESS Team Managers from the East, West, Central, Nursing, and Business & Economics teams.

• Define strategy, priorities, and operational cadence throughout the national organization.

• Propel the achievement of sales objectives, growth in subscription revenue, and increase in market share.

• Collaborate with regional sales, enterprise account teams, product, marketing, and customer success to identify growth opportunities.

• Enhance pipeline discipline, forecasting precision, territory execution, and account coverage utilizing data, analytics, and CRM.

• Cultivate ESS Team Managers through workforce planning, succession planning, and change leadership initiatives.

• Foster a high-performance culture characterized by accountability, coaching, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

• Influence the future performance of Pearson’s Higher Education ESS organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of leadership experience in sales within higher education, enterprise, or complex B2B settings.

• Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and multi-region or multi-segment groups to achieve measurable outcomes.

• Proficient in strategy formulation, account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, and consultative selling techniques.

• Experience leveraging data, competitive analysis, and business reporting to guide decisions and enhance performance.

• Proven ability to lead during transitions, develop leadership capabilities, and implement scalable operational practices.

• Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the capacity to influence across various functions and levels.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales operations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.

• Willingness to travel is necessary.
