Head of Enterprise IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and take charge of the internal company IT infrastructure from the ground up, distinct from the customer-facing production environment.

• Implement IAM, network security, and VPN infrastructure for a distributed, multi-office organization.

• Establish office networks, manage employee access, and facilitate corporate hardware/software provisioning.

• Create and expand a helpdesk/IT support function that caters to all offices and locations.

• Oversee security policies for internal systems, separate from production data-center security.

• Manage the Enterprise IT budget along with vendor/SaaS relationships.

• Ensure compliance with GDPR and enforce internal data protection measures.

• Collaborate with the CTO to integrate corporate systems with the production platform, including billing and monitoring.

• Supervise corporate systems such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, Slack, Google Workspace, and Jira when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, including over 3 years in a leadership or Head of IT capacity.

• Proven experience in establishing an IT function/infrastructure from the ground up (greenfield site, new company, new office, or major infrastructure re-platform).

• Practical experience with IAM, network security, and VPN infrastructure.

• Experience in managing IT operations across various offices/locations.

• Proficiency in managing IT budgets and negotiating vendor/SaaS contracts.

• Familiarity with GDPR and internal data compliance requirements.

• Experience in building or scaling a helpdesk/support function.

• Proficient in English for effective communication with international vendors and stakeholders.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, ISO 27001, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

• Skills in Polish and/or Ukrainian are advantageous.

• Experience in managing enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRMS) from start to finish is a plus.

• Prior experience in a fast-scaling company environment is advantageous.

• Familiarity with integrating corporate systems with production/billing platforms is a plus.

• Experience supporting distributed/international teams (Poland/Ukraine/EU) is a plus.
