Head of Endpoint Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee Kyndryl's endpoint defense initiatives

• Manage operations, policies, and health for Cortex XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Trend Micro, and other endpoint tools

• Enhance agent coverage, deployment, and configuration integrity across the managed fleet

• Collaborate with Cyber Defense and SIEM/SOAR to fine-tune prevention and detection policies

• Streamline the multi-vendor endpoint stack for consistent coverage and reduced redundancy

• Ensure endpoint telemetry is comprehensive, timely, and integrated into XSIAM and the detection pipeline

• Assist in incident response by providing endpoint containment, isolation, and on-demand forensic data for the Incident Commander

• Promote automation in agent deployment, health monitoring, policy management, remediation actions, and telemetry quality

• Establish and report on endpoint security KPIs

• Lead and nurture the endpoint defense team

• Continuously enhance operational processes through automation, standardization, and best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security, and SIEM solutions

• Profound knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux, along with their security mechanisms

• Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements, including ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR

• Experience with leading technologies in the relevant sector

• Ability to evaluate and implement best practices in technology deployment and configuration

• Background in the design and implementation of security architectures, segmentation, and zero trust frameworks

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)

• Experience with workload, server, and network architectures, and their associated security controls (preferred)
