Head of Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Define, instruct, and oversee PVM's mission-outcome methodology.

• Establish the technical benchmark for ontology and data model design, construction patterns, security posture, testing, and design evaluation.

• Maintain a billable rate of approximately 40% by engaging in live builds, workshops, or addressing stalled outcomes.

• Lead, manage, and ensure accountability within the Echo corps and Delivery Operations.

• Take ownership of the technical hiring standards.

• Act as PVM's technical representative to Palantir.

• Provide guidance to customers and help shape solutions in collaboration with the Growth team.

• Document PVM's delivery methodology and develop reusable accelerators.

• Cultivate local technical leads within hubs.

• Set the technical expectations and tackle the most challenging delivery issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software, data, or forward-deployed engineering, with a proven history of delivering systems into production.

• More than 3 years of experience leading technical teams, including direct leadership over engineers—hiring, developing, and managing performance.

• Practical experience with Palantir (Foundry, Gotham, and/or AIP) or a similar forward-deployed engineering model.

• Proven ownership of a technical standard across multiple teams.

• Executive presence when interacting with senior customer stakeholders.

• Experience in holding an operations or program-management role accountable through a direct report.

• Willingness to maintain a tangible billable delivery load (~40%) as a consistent aspect of the position.

• U.S. citizenship required.

• Capability to obtain and retain a security clearance.

• Previous experience as a Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), Deployment Strategist, or in partner-side delivery leadership is preferred.

• Background in defense/intelligence/national security is preferred.

• Active or recent security clearance is preferred.

• Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is preferred.
