Head of Data Center, Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Supervise and coordinate commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities for data center cooling projects throughout Europe.

• Ensure that service operations meet commitments to European clients and operational performance standards with internal technical teams, clients, and external partners.

• Oversee the execution of field service orders for the Data Center sector.

• Identify local technical expertise and organize individual training for engineers across Europe.

• Assess escalated business-impacting issues and propose solutions.

• Manage experienced teams in line with established programs and objectives.

• Address quality concerns effectively.

• Engage with customers, gather feedback, and cultivate relationships with key clients.

• Address complaints from high-profile customers and implement improvement plans based on customer satisfaction assessments.

• Mentor team members to ensure operational goals are achieved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in field service, operations, or project execution within HVAC, cooling systems, data centers, or critical environments.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing technical service teams across multiple countries or regions.

• Strong technical expertise in cooling solutions, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.

• Experience in customer relationship management, including managing escalations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage operational performance, and resolve complex issues in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, internal teams, and external partners.

• Proficient in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.

• Willingness to travel across Europe as necessary.
