Head of Credit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Taekus’s credit strategy and underwriting framework.

• Develop and enhance the credit decision-making infrastructure and risk models.

• Oversee and improve portfolio performance regarding approval rates, delinquencies, and losses.

• Collaborate with product and data teams to establish automated underwriting and risk systems.

• Initiate and oversee new credit products within the Taekus ecosystem.

• Work in close partnership with sponsor banks and compliance partners to ensure adherence to regulations.

• Build and lead the credit risk and underwriting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in consumer credit, underwriting, or credit risk leadership.

• Proven experience in building or scaling credit programs at a fintech, card issuer, or modern banking institution.

• Strong expertise in credit modeling, underwriting strategy, and portfolio management.

• Familiarity with credit bureau data, alternative underwriting signals, and automated decision-making.

• A builder mindset with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment.
