This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the Sales and Marketing departments while managing the marketing partner.
• Establish and execute the commercial strategy encompassing direct sales, channel partnerships, marketing, and new product introductions.
• Expand the customer base within private healthcare, biotech, pharmaceuticals, and research, while facilitating international sales efforts.
• Utilize market intelligence, competitive analysis, and performance metrics to inform propositions, pricing strategies, and planning.
• Recruit, onboard, and nurture commercial talent; conduct one-on-ones, performance evaluations, and team meetings.
• Represent the commercial division on the Senior Leadership Team and assist with reporting, strategic planning, and organization-wide initiatives.
• Achieve sales targets for both new and existing customers.
• Identify, pursue, and secure high-value opportunities.
• Focus on long-term recurring revenue and diversify the customer portfolio.
• Oversee and evaluate tenders, proposals, quotations, and pricing strategies.
• Conduct pipeline reviews, maintain sales forecasts, and provide visibility into performance.
• Identify growth opportunities and ensure seamless customer transitions.
• Recruit and oversee international distributors and resellers.
• Facilitate partner onboarding, product training, sales enablement, and co-marketing initiatives.
• Manage go-to-market strategies for new products from market validation through to launch and adoption.
• Define product positioning, packaging, and pricing structures.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to align the product roadmap with market demands.
• Develop and implement the annual marketing plan for the UK and international markets.
• Manage priorities, performance, and return on investment with marketing partners.
• Enhance Contronics’ brand presence and generate qualified demand.
• Leverage AI-driven tools for lead generation, scoring, campaign execution, and competitor tracking.
• Craft messaging for sales, partners, and product launches.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior sales or commercial leadership position.
• Demonstrated success in selling technical systems or solutions where compliance, regulation, or quality standards are critical purchasing factors.
• Proven history of acquiring new customers and increasing revenue from existing accounts, including closing high-value contracts.
• Comfortable with both prospecting and closing deals personally while mentoring and developing team members.
• Strong understanding of pricing, profit margins, and recurring revenue models.
• Familiarity with formal proposal and tender processes, preferably including public-sector procurement.
• Highly numerate, with experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM-driven reporting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as needed.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Experience in the NHS, healthcare, or life sciences sectors.
• Background in building and managing international distributor or reseller networks.
• Experience in launching new products or propositions into the market.
• Expertise in establishing marketing strategies and managing external marketing partners.
• Familiarity with AI-driven sales and marketing tools and automation processes.
