Head of Collections & Asset Recovery, Russian Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the comprehensive collections and recovery strategy along with the performance of the department.

• Lead and nurture the collections team, establish targets, allocate workload, and ensure uniform execution.

• Be responsible for key performance indicators including collection rates, delinquency levels, and asset recovery.

• Develop and continuously enhance strategies for both soft and hard collections.

• Establish customer segmentation, contact schedules, escalation protocols, payment plans, and settlement guidelines.

• Evaluate delinquent portfolios, prioritize high-risk cases, and uncover opportunities to enhance recoveries.

• Oversee equipment repossession and asset recovery, managing both internal processes and external partnerships.

• Cultivate relationships with third-party collection agencies and other recovery service providers.

• Collaborate closely with Operations, Customer Support, Analytics, and Marketing teams to execute changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2C collections/debt recovery, ideally in the United States, with substantial experience managing delinquent customers.

• At least 3 years in a collections leadership position with accountability for team and portfolio performance.

• Comprehensive knowledge of soft collections, hard collections, settlements, payment plans, escalation, and recovery strategies.

• Experience managing extensive delinquent portfolios using segmentation and data-driven prioritization methods.

• Strong grasp of collections KPIs and the ability to discern the factors influencing changes in recovery performance.

• Experience in asset recovery or repossession is a significant asset.

• Familiarity with third-party collection agencies, legal escalation, or fraud/theft cases is a considerable advantage.

• Exceptional analytical, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.

• Proficient in English (C1+).

• Proficiency in Russian is a plus.

• Availability during business hours in the US Eastern Time Zone.
