Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver customer support regarding payment inquiries, due dates, payoff details, and account modifications.

• Execute ACH requests and provide precise payoff estimates.

• Support customers with early-stage account recovery for accounts that are 1–45 days overdue.

• Discuss repayment alternatives and assist in establishing payment arrangements when suitable.

• Accurately review account details and document updates.

• Utilize skip tracing tools to find and refresh customer information.

• Uphold professionalism, empathy, and compliance during all customer interactions.

• Achieve quality, adherence, and efficiency standards within a high-volume contact center setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a high-volume call center environment.

• Proven experience working remotely.

• Reliable internet connection (stipend not provided).

• Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, collections, banking, finance, billing, retail management, or account support is preferred.

• Experience handling customers in sensitive or high-pressure situations is preferred.

• Ability to stay calm, professional, and focused on solutions is preferred.

• Strong attendance, reliability, and productivity record is preferred.

• Experience achieving performance metrics in a contact center environment is preferred.

• Employer covers required collections licensing across multiple states.
