This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Process patient insurance details during the patient intake procedure.
• Collect payments for outstanding patient balances.
• Address credits when payer overpayments necessitate refunds.
• Execute revenue operations tasks pertaining to medical insurance collections, credits, and setting patient insurance coverage.
• Liaise with insurance payers to guarantee proper patient coverage and timely, accurate reimbursement for dialysis services.
• Respond promptly and accurately to communications from payers.
• Collaborate with revenue operations teams to ensure smooth processes.
• Partner with insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and changes.
• Keep patient account information current.
• Ensure confidentiality of company and patient information.
• Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training sessions as required.
• Adhere to teammate guidelines, employment policies, and departmental or company procedures.
• Preferred experience in collections.
• Candidates must be available to work MST hours.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt swiftly and demonstrate resilience.
• Ownership of a book of business, with the motivation and initiative to work through the queue.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations and DaVita policies.
