Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct proactive follow-ups on overdue invoices via daily phone calls and emails.

• Evaluate customer accounts to pinpoint outstanding balances and ensure proper allocation.

• Keep an updated accounts receivable aging report.

• Negotiate payment plans to safeguard Panoptyc's cash flow.

• Work alongside Sales and Customer Success teams to address payment-related disputes.

• Analyze reasons for payment delays and implement preventive measures.

• Maintain comprehensive records of communications and transactions.

• Provide Finance leadership with updates on collection status and aging trend reports.

• Enhance billing and collections processes.

• Act as the primary contact for client billing inquiries.

• Foster long-term relationships with client billing stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable financial regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations.

• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume portfolios and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate challenging financial discussions professionally.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• High level of proficiency in Excel.

• Familiarity with CRM and accounting software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

• Highly organized in outreach, reconciliation, and follow-up tasks.

• Capability to utilize data to prioritize overdue accounts.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in account records.

• Ability to recognize patterns, investigate discrepancies, and act upon financial data.

• Experience in a B2B or SaaS environment is advantageous.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and experience in creating presentation decks or process documentation are beneficial.
