Head of Campus – Technology, Digital & Media

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead the WBS Campus as a crucial member of a three-person leadership team.

• Spearhead the strategic and operational growth of the WBS Campus.

• Manage teams and supervisors across various locations.

• Supervise IT, information technology, CAD, media, and the TECH division based in Dresden.

• Convey strategic decisions, forward-thinking topics, and significant developments throughout the organization.

• Adapt technological advancements, digitalization, and AI into innovative educational solutions and offerings for everyday educational operations.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Education Strategy to create a technology and education portfolio.

• Steer innovations from their inception to scalable, routine operations.

• Actively influence change and transformation initiatives.

• Integrate the Dresden TECH division closely with educational innovation, campus development, and strategic corporate goals.

• Report directly to the Executive Board.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of leadership and management experience at the crossroads of education, IT, technology, and digitalization.

• Proven experience in leading distributed teams.

• Deep understanding of AI and generative AI.

• Familiarity with digital learning ecosystems, platform technologies, automation, and learning analytics.

• Exceptional communication and networking abilities.

• Demonstrated success in piloting technological innovations and transitioning them into scalable, economically viable operations.

• Knowledge of technical and digital professions, current labor market trends, and anticipated skills and qualification needs.

• Extensive experience in managing change and transformation processes.

• Experience in developing digital education offerings, learning platforms, or technology-enhanced learning environments is a plus.

• Awareness of current trends in EdTech, digital transformation, the future of work, and educational innovation is desirable.

• Experience in collaborating with innovation, product management, or strategy functions is an advantage.

• A well-established network in technology, digitalization, education, or innovation is beneficial.

• Familiarity with data-driven management practices and experience in building cross-location innovation and collaboration frameworks is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for face-to-face meetings in Berlin.
