Head of Campus – Technology, Digital & Media

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the WBS Campus as the operational hub of the Funded Continuing Education business unit.

• Propel the strategic and operational growth of the WBS Campus within a three-member leadership team.

• Directly report to the Executive Board.

• Lead teams and managers across various locations.

• Enhance collaboration and offer guidance, motivation, and impact within virtual frameworks.

• Take full responsibility for IT, information technology, CAD, media, and the TECH division in Dresden.

• Act as the Campus spokesperson, communicating strategic decisions, forward-looking topics, and significant developments across the organization.

• Transform technological advancements, digitalization, and AI into innovative educational offerings and effective solutions for daily educational operations.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Education Strategy to develop a technology and education portfolio.

• Assist in bringing innovations from initial concept to scalable, standard operations.

• Actively influence change and transformation initiatives.

• Seamlessly connect the Dresden TECH division with educational innovation, campus development, and strategic corporate goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of leadership and management experience at the crossroads of education, IT, technology, and digitalization, including experience managing distributed teams.

• Deep understanding of AI and generative AI, digital learning ecosystems, platform technologies, automation, and Learning Analytics.

• Exceptional communication and networking abilities.

• Proven track record of successfully piloting technological innovations and transitioning them into scalable, economically viable operations.

• Strong understanding of technical and digital roles, current labor market trends, and future skill and qualification needs.

• Extensive experience in managing change and transformation processes.

• Experience in developing digital educational offerings, learning platforms, or technology-driven learning environments.

• Awareness of current trends in EdTech, digital transformation, the Future of Work, and educational innovation.

• Experience collaborating with innovation, product management, or strategic functions.

• Established network in technology, digitalization, education, or innovation.

• Knowledge of data-driven management approaches and experience in building cross-location innovation and collaboration frameworks.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person meetings in Berlin.
