This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Supervise accounting functions for a portfolio of e-commerce businesses and an independent manufacturing entity.
• Create and execute processes for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment management, vendor oversight, invoice authorization, and fraud detection.
• Formulate and apply accounting policies and internal control measures that adhere to U.S. GAAP standards.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and facilitating internal/external audits.
• Assess, suggest, and deploy accounting systems, tools, and automation strategies.
• Direct, train, and assist the accounting team through various processes and platforms.
• Work collaboratively with finance, operations, and management to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Track cash flow and perform account reconciliations.
• Guarantee compliance with both local and international accounting regulations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for banks, auditors, and other external parties.
• Carry out additional tasks as required.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA or an equivalent credential is preferred.
• Over 8 years of leadership experience in accounting, particularly in e-commerce and manufacturing industries.
• Demonstrated experience with IFRS or U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting operations, including AR/AP, payments, vendor management, invoice approvals, and audit processes.
• Experience in developing and implementing accounting policies, controls, and initiatives for process improvement.
• Proven track record in preventing and managing financial fraud or vendor-related scams.
• Proficient in ERP or accounting systems, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the capability to mentor and guide accounting teams.
• Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and equipped with an analytical mindset.
