HCM Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and project teams to gather business requirements and convert them into technical solutions using Oracle HCM Cloud.

• Create architectural designs and strategies for solutions that are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.

• Lead the processes of configuration, customization, integration, data migration, and reporting implementations.

• Act as the technical subject matter expert for Oracle HCM Cloud, providing guidance on new releases and features.

• Design and implement integrations with ERP, CRM, and third-party systems utilizing Oracle integration technologies and APIs.

• Detect and resolve performance issues through tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.

• Offer technical guidance and leadership to developers, administrators, and analysts.

• Mentor junior team members and encourage knowledge sharing and best practices.

• Produce technical documentation, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams.

• Work in tandem with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives.

• Collect requirements, provide project updates, and address technical concerns from clients.

• Maintain opportunities for continuing education, engage in internal projects, and offer project expertise as required.

• Delegate tasks, supervise project staff workflow, and may train staff, conduct interviews, and perform project evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer or Information Science-related field or equivalent experience is required.

• Extensive experience as a Technical Architect with a focus on Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.

• Strong understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud modules and technical components, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, and Analytics.

• Proficient in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and other relevant Oracle technologies.

• Hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects, including configuration, customization, and data migration.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud security, data model, and reporting capabilities.

• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of collaborating and interacting with clients across various levels.

• Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.

• Deep knowledge of Oracle principles and planning.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required for customer projects, potentially up to 75% of the time.

• A reliable and consistent internet connection is necessary.

• A professional home office space and background suitable for remote work.

• Availability to work full-time during Apex IT business hours and, when necessary, outside of those hours.

• Ability to spend prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer; capability to bend, sit, lift, and drive.
