HCM Payroll Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the principal Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Solution Architect for enterprise-level implementations.

• Develop comprehensive Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll solutions that are in line with client business goals and Oracle best practices.

• Oversee solution architecture related to Payroll and associated Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Time & Labor (OTL), Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Management.

• Create scalable global payroll solutions that accommodate various legal employers, business units, and payroll relationships.

• Establish implementation standards, governance protocols, and solution design documentation.

• Function as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors and business stakeholders.

• Organize executive workshops and solution strategy sessions.

• Convert complex business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud HCM solutions.

• Provide insights on business process transformation and Oracle best practices.

• Showcase solution architecture to executive leadership and steering committees.

• Lead functional workstreams throughout the entire implementation lifecycle, including Discovery, Solution Design, Configuration, Conference Room Pilots, Testing, Data Conversion, User Acceptance Testing, Cutover, and Hypercare.

• Collaborate effectively with Project Managers to oversee scope, risks, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Ensure solution quality by conducting design reviews and governance checkpoints.

• Work in partnership with technical teams to design integrations utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HDL/HSDL, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, OTBI, BICC, and REST APIs.

• Evaluate technical designs to confirm their alignment with functional architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 10 years of experience in Oracle HCM implementation.

• More than 7 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation.

• Multiple full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll implementations in the capacity of Solution Architect or Lead Consultant.

• Extensive expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll configuration.

• Strong knowledge base in Core HR, Time & Labor, Benefits, Absence Management, Compensation, and Security.

• Experience in designing enterprise Payroll architecture.

• Solid understanding of payroll laws and compliance.

• Preferred experience with global payroll implementations.

• Proven experience in leading functional consulting teams.

• Excellent executive communication and presentation abilities.

• Oracle Cloud Payroll Certification.

• Oracle Cloud HCM Certification(s).

• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Applications.

• Experience in Fast Formula development.

• Proficient in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• Background in implementing payroll integrations with third-party vendors (ADP, banks, tax providers, benefit providers, etc.).

• Consulting experience in a professional services organization.
