HCM Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Create new business opportunities leveraging the company's expertise, industry profile, and knowledge.

• Schedule and deliver presentations on Paylocity services to potential clients.

• Prepare and present proposals, while following up throughout the sales process.

• Organize, complete, and secure client documentation necessary for transitioning to the Paylocity system.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless client transitions.

• Generate prospects through telemarketing, referrals, professional and personal networks, and other channels.

• Establish and nurture relationships within the Broker channel and other referral sources.

• Maintain contact with current customers to identify additional service needs.

• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity services.

• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• A college degree is highly preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in a sales role.

• Ability to thrive in a competitive landscape.

• Capability to maintain high activity standards.

• Demonstrated history of sales achievements.

• Critical thinking and decision-making skills are essential for addressing objections and unexpected scenarios throughout the sales cycle.

• Customer service orientation is a must.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and internet navigation.

• Availability to work five days a week during designated hours.

• Mobility is required for sitting, standing, walking, and traveling to prospective client locations.

• Manual dexterity is necessary for operating a computer keyboard and handling small items.

• Sensory abilities to see, hear, and touch are required.

• Mental effort is necessary for reading, writing, visualization, calculation, and analysis.
