📋 Description

• Develop intricate single-turn prompts within the realm of hazardous devices and public safety.

• Classify prompts as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.

• Assess model responses according to a specified policy standard.

• Evaluate whether responses were appropriately managed.

• Create reference answers that outline correct responses along with the technical reasoning behind them.

• Conduct red-team assessments on frontier AI models to evaluate misuse potential.

• Utilize professional judgment to differentiate between legitimate technical inquiries and hazardous requests.

• Provide written explanations that are accessible to non-specialists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background as a certified bomb technician or hazardous device operator, military EOD with civilian public safety, training or instructional experience, bomb squad commander or training officer, post-blast investigator/device reconstruction specialist, or CBRNE technical response professional.

• Experience in assessing actual hazardous devices, including render-safe and post-incident operations.

• Capability to identify routine professional inquiries from potentially harmful requests.

• Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce written rationales that are comprehensible to non-specialists.

• Previous experience in technical writing, published research, or as an expert witness is highly preferred.

• Experience in red-teaming is ideally preferred.

• Must refrain from using classified, export-controlled, NDA-protected, or prepublication-review information in the work.

• Ability to read and write about misuse scenarios for extended periods.

• Must provide a sample or link if available for technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience.
