Guidewire Configuration Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and develop solutions utilizing Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.

• Create and maintain integrations between Guidewire and third-party systems such as billing providers, document management systems, reinsurance platforms, and external data services.

• Enhance and extend Guidewire through Gosu scripting, configuration, and customization of the product model.

• Assist with deployments on the Guidewire Cloud Platform, encompassing environment management, pipeline configuration, and considerations specific to cloud architecture.

• Work collaboratively with business analysts and solution architects to convert requirements into Guidewire configurations and custom development.

• Engage in code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation in accordance with Guidewire best practices.

• Diagnose and rectify defects across configuration, integration, and data layers.

• Aid in data migration efforts, including mapping, validation, and transformation logic.

• Contribute to upgrade and patch initiatives, evaluating impacts and managing regression risks.

• Collaborate with client technical teams to facilitate knowledge transfer and enhance internal capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ years of overall experience is required.

• At least 3+ years of practical experience in Guidewire development or implementation is necessary.

• Expertise in Gosu scripting, Guidewire configuration, and product model development is essential.

• Experience with at least one of the following: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter in a live implementation or upgrade.

• Familiarity with integration patterns, including REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON is required.

• Capability to read and contribute to technical design documentation as well as solution architecture.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in client-facing delivery teams.

• Guidewire certifications are preferred, which may include Guidewire Certified ACE, Guidewire Certified Associate, Guidewire Certified Professional, Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) Certification, Guidewire Integration Certification, or Guidewire Digital Portals Certification.
