GTM Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with GTM stakeholders to transform ambiguous process requests into well-defined technical requirements and implementation strategies.

• Develop integrations, event flows for customers or prospects, automations, and modifications to the GTM Engine.

• Utilize APIs, webhooks, queues, scheduled workflows, or small services when suitable.

• Determine whether to build, buy, or configure solutions based on the specific problem at hand.

• Create production-ready systems that include failure-path testing, handling of duplicates and retries, and monitoring functionalities.

• Deploy and maintain systems utilizing version control, code reviews, and secure deployment practices.

• Diagnose or recover from failures post-launch.

• Collaborate with Salesforce, platform owners, and the Commercial Data Analyst to ensure clean integrations and accurate performance data.

• Document significant workflows, decisions, and recovery procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software, systems, or integration engineering.

• Experience delivering real integrations or services utilizing APIs, webhooks, or event-driven systems.

• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Familiarity with Git and participation in code reviews.

• Background in integrating with business systems such as CRM, payments, finance, marketing, or operations platforms.

• Capability to engage directly with non-technical stakeholders and convert vague requests into actionable solutions.

• Quick learner with the ability to grasp unfamiliar systems and select straightforward, production-ready solutions.

• Consideration of failure scenarios, including unavailable APIs, duplicate records, or conflicting updates.
