This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary finance partner to GTM leadership and the VP of Finance, offering insights on investment choices and GTM strategy.
• Take ownership of deal review and advisory, including approval thresholds, gross margin floors by product, and discounting strategy.
• Convert pipeline data into bookings and recognized consumption revenue.
• Establish ramp and utilization assumptions.
• Manage forecasting and annual planning processes.
• Collaborate with GTM stakeholders.
• Design, manage, and implement sales compensation plans, covering plan structures, quota settings, and commission calculations.
• Work alongside Data, RevOps, and Sales teams to develop GTM analytics.
• Monitor GTM KPIs such as CAC payback, quota attainment, and sales efficiency.
• Convert data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Oversee the financial operations behind LiveKit's go-to-market organization as it grows.
• Collaborate with the CRO and VP of Finance.
• Develop repeatable frameworks, provide deal advice, extract data, and connect business insights.
• 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in GTM strategic finance, FP&A, RevOps, or deal desk within high-growth B2B technology firms.
• 2+ years of experience in investment banking and/or consulting at a top-tier firm.
• Proficient financial modeling skills in Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to create models from scratch and translate results into clear business insights for leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of GTM metrics and economics.
• Practical experience with quota design, compensation plan design, and sales capacity modeling.
• A passion for working in a dynamic, ambiguous startup environment.
• Capability to influence and align decisions across multiple teams.
• Ownership mentality and a proven history of taking initiatives.
• Background in Voice AI, CPaaS, telecom, or real-time infrastructure (preferred).
• Experience with usage-based, consumption, or credit-denominated business models (preferred).
• Familiarity with early-stage startup environments (preferred).
• Experience utilizing AI tools at work (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) (preferred).
• Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce, Gong, etc.), modern billing stacks (Stripe, Metronome), and commission tools (CaptivateIQ) (preferred).
• Knowledge of ERP tools (QuickBooks, NetSuite) (preferred).
