Growth Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the commercial operations, growth, and profitability of CarousellMOBILE, a retailer specializing in secondhand phones.

• Propel sales and conversion rates across both physical stores and online platforms.

• Oversee the presentation and selling efficiency of the website and Carousell storefront.

• Enhance organic traffic through effective SEO strategies.

• Collaborate with the design team on promotional banners and marketing campaigns.

• Create initiatives to boost device collection through awareness, advocacy, and partnerships.

• Evaluate sales and inventory metrics using business intelligence dashboards and AI tools.

• Compare business performance against competitors in the market.

• Convert insights into actionable strategies for both online sales and store teams.

• Lead and mentor the online sales team while supporting the development of the store team.

• Collaborate closely with the Retail Manager in Singapore.

• Report directly to the General Manager.

• Conduct visits to company stores in Singapore.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in e-commerce, online merchandising, retail, category management, or business analysis.

• Demonstrated strong analytical abilities.

• Familiarity with data source operations.

• Proficiency in using BI dashboards.

• Regular use of AI tools in daily work activities.

• Capability to articulate the reasons behind numerical changes and appropriate actions to take.

• Entrepreneurial mindset.

• A genuine curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Bonus: Experience in SEO.

• Bonus: Knowledge of mobile devices, e-commerce, or marketplace merchandising.

• Bonus: Conversational proficiency in Mandarin.

• Must be based in Indonesia; preference for candidates from Batam.

• Willingness to work Singapore hours and some weekends.

• Openness to travel to Singapore every 1 to 2 months.
