This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +7 more states.
• Take charge of Starlink’s strategy and execution for consumer subscriber growth in Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
• Act as the local market representative for Starlink, focusing on awareness, acquisition, partnerships, and performance.
• Implement business development strategies to enhance Starlink’s consumer footprint.
• Identify, assess, and develop customer acquisition channels in collaboration with internet service providers, affiliates, utilities, retailers, installers, real estate partners, community organizations, and local governments.
• Manage deal execution from the identification of opportunities to finalizing commercial agreements and partner launches.
• Represent Starlink in negotiations with potential commercial partners and community stakeholders.
• Oversee local marketing efforts, field marketing, community events, trade shows, retail activations, and grassroots initiatives.
• Enhance Starlink’s brand visibility and presence in the region.
• Analyze feedback from customers and partners to shape product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor and report on subscriber acquisition, partner performance, and the ROI of campaigns and growth initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with sales, product, marketing, operations, engineering, and finance teams.
• Design and implement pilots and growth experiments to discover high-performing acquisition channels.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, growth, sales, marketing, consulting, or operations.
• Availability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% or more to customer sites and other SpaceX locations.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or qualified to obtain necessary U.S. Department of State authorizations.
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience in relevant business development, partnerships, growth, sales, marketing, consulting, or operations.
• Preferred: proficiency in consumer purchasing behavior in the region, particularly in rural areas.
• Preferred: experience in consumer technology, telecommunications, broadband, utilities, or subscription-based services.
• Preferred: experience in establishing and scaling local or regional partnerships and distribution channels.
• Preferred: experience in executing local, field marketing, or community growth initiatives.
• Preferred: experience in launching and expanding products within the region.
• Preferred: proven success in managing projects from start to finish and achieving measurable growth outcomes.
• Preferred: strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Preferred: excellent analytical abilities and comfort with tracking funnel metrics, conversion rates, and ROI.
