Growth Engineer – Internship/Work-Study Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Business Owners to define product and business requirements.

• Transform business requirements into data opportunities.

• Create tools and applications utilizing Python scripts, Django back office, and FastAPI microservices.

• Design and implement AI features using LLMs and machine learning models.

• Automate practical tasks such as lead scoring, information extraction via OCR, and decision support.

• Assist in projects from initial experimentation through to production deployment.

• Analyze data to uncover growth opportunities.

• Offer actionable insights to Product and Business teams.

• Document and articulate technical work in layman's terms for non-technical teams.

• Collaborate across various Business Units.

• Receive mentorship from a senior team member.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an engineering program or pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Looking for a final-year internship lasting at least 6 months or a work-study position.

• Proficient in Python, with experience in developing applications or services beyond basic scripts.

• Capable of structuring code that is both readable and maintainable.

• Comfortable using Git and knowledgeable about code review practices.

• Proficient in querying SQL databases, able to write clear queries and extract actionable insights.

• Strong interest in AI and a desire to incorporate AI tools into tangible projects.

• Curious and motivated to learn new skills.

• Understanding of business challenges with a desire to grasp the reasoning behind each request.

• Team-oriented, capable of collaborating with both technical and non-technical professionals.

• Experience with Django or FastAPI is advantageous.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or BigQuery is a plus.
