Growth Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership and revamp the submission activation funnel from start to finish.

• Implement tracking for every step of the funnel and conduct a cycle of experimentation, including A/B testing.

• Develop strategies to re-engage users who leave without completing submissions.

• Identify successful acquisition channels throughout the user lifecycle, including SEO, AEO, paid advertising, and mobile ads.

• Create systems that enable the scaling of successful acquisition channels.

• Enhance how Alt ranks and is presented in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other virtual assistants.

• Establish precise attribution and integrate product analytics into a unified source of truth.

• Update messaging and deep-linking infrastructure for improved performance.

• Develop owned, instrumented push notifications, in-app messaging, email, and SMS lifecycle systems.

• Ensure compliance with SMS opt-in regulations.

• Oversee marketplace equilibrium among bidders, buyers, and sellers.

• Initiate growth strategies for the underperforming side of the marketplace.

• Collaborate closely with the founder and the marketing lead.

• Maintain complete ownership of the funnel and evolve into leading the growth function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of engineering experience.

• Proficient backend skills in Python, Postgres, and AWS or similar technologies.

• Frontend expertise in React, React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Proven experience in managing growth systems or product features from conception to deployment.

• Proficient in experimentation and A/B testing frameworks.

• Familiarity with product analytics tools such as PostHog or Amplitude.

• Experience with attribution tools like AppsFlyer.

• Background in lifecycle platforms.

• Strong grasp of funnels and instrumentation techniques.

• Ability to transform unorganized data into clean, reliable signals.

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

• Strong skills in documentation, inquiry, and providing feedback.

• Familiarity with collectibles or alternative asset marketplaces is a plus.
