This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Plan, oversee, coordinate, and implement sales and technical support for home accessibility products aimed at Canadian dealers.
• Establish strong relationships with customers to enhance their business with Harmar/Pollock Elevators.
• Provide training and education to customers and their teams on product-line marketing and advertising initiatives.
• Address customer product issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with the Credit Manager regarding credit-related matters in the territory.
• Manage and oversee the inventory of sample products.
• Deliver both in-person and virtual training, conduct dealer visits, and offer troubleshooting and technical assistance.
• Sustain and expand the existing business within the designated territory.
• Generate new business by identifying potential customers and introducing additional product lines to current clients.
• Facilitate training sessions in Sarasota, Florida, online, or at dealer locations throughout Canada.
• Provide support via phone and email for installation, service inquiries, and product-related questions.
• Conduct facility and field training for stairlift, vertical platform lift, and elevator products.
• Create sales orders and manage return material authorizations for repair components.
• Assist in the development and review of technical documents and training resources.
• Support technical assistance and training teams with special initiatives.
• Willingness to work and travel for business purposes within Canada and the US.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in a straightforward manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Confidence in speaking before small groups.
• Exceptional customer support and communication with dealers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Proficient in conducting webinars, video sessions, and utilizing interactive learning tools.
• Skilled in using the Google platform and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, or elevator systems.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
• Highly organized; capable of managing travel and prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Valid driver's license and readiness to travel as required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a sales role, ideally with electrical and mechanical products.
• Associate degree or trade certification in a technical field; or 4+ years of relevant experience; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in both English and French.
