This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.
• Take ownership of the revenue targets for Nigeria and devise a strategy to achieve them.
• Discover, engage, and secure opportunities with private educational institutions, school groups, universities, and corporate entities.
• Oversee the entire sales process from initial discussions to final contract signing.
• Prepare proposals and quotes utilizing established templates and the pricing guide.
• Transform one-time training sessions into ongoing partnerships and agreements across multiple schools.
• Develop direct relationships with school proprietors, heads, directors, and university executives.
• Act as the company representative in associations and networks such as NAPPS, AISEN, APEN, and GEG chapters.
• Collaborate with the founder to support the Google partnership in Nigeria.
• Offer insights on regional market dynamics.
• Organize workshops, Gemini Academies, and conference participation in Nigeria.
• Manage venue logistics, delegate lists, materials, and the execution of events on the day.
• Ensure timely follow-up on events and accurate pipeline entries for leads.
• Oversee the Nigerian trainer roster, including scheduling, briefing, material preparation, and booking confirmations.
• Pair trainers with clients and monitor their utilization.
• Conduct post-delivery quality assessments and address any issues proactively.
• Maintain the pipeline of certified trainers.
• Keep prospects, stages, and next steps updated in the CRM.
• Provide weekly updates on the pipeline and revenue.
• Honestly forecast revenue and promptly escalate any issues.
• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in generating business in Nigeria, preferably within education, edtech, training, or professional services.
• Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
• Established network among private school proprietors, heads, or directors, or clear evidence of the capability to quickly build one.
• Experience in coordinating events, programs, or training initiatives.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, a CRM or project management tools like ClickUp, and WhatsApp Business.
• Residing in Lagos and open to traveling throughout Nigeria.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision.
• Google Certified Educator Level 1 or Level 2, or Google Certified Trainer status; certification support will be provided if not currently held.
• Experience working in or selling to Nigerian private schools is advantageous.
• Existing connections with NAPPS, AISEN, APEN, or GEG chapters are an added plus.
• Genuine interest in AI in education and the ability to discuss Gemini credibly with educational leaders.
