Growth Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the ClickHouse data warehouse, overseeing schema design, data ingestion, backfills, and performance optimization.

• Develop and sustain data pipelines that integrate production Postgres, Stripe, Slack, advertising platforms, and additional future data sources.

• Manage the BI layer utilizing Hex dashboards to support growth, finance, customer support, and product initiatives.

• Address critical business inquiries related to retention cohorts, unit economics, credit analysis, channel attribution, churn rates, and the impact of pricing.

• Implement monitoring and alerting systems for significant changes in key metrics.

• Collaborate with co-founders and company leaders to define, prioritize, and expedite project deliveries while questioning existing assumptions.

• Establish a data foundation that serves as the reliable source of truth for strategic company decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in advanced SQL with hands-on experience in crafting complex queries.

• Knowledge of Python for ETL processes and orchestration.

• Familiarity with tools such as dbt, Dagster, Airflow, or other similar platforms.

• Understanding of columnar data warehouses like ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

• Experience in creating BI layers from scratch using tools such as Hex, Metabase, Looker, or comparable technologies.

• Possess a product-oriented mindset with proactive decision-making skills and a readiness to challenge existing assumptions.

• Entrepreneurial spirit with the capability to develop a new function within the organization.

• Previous experience in early-stage startups is a plus.

• Knowledge of Stripe and SaaS metrics including MRR, ARR, NDR, and LTV is advantageous.

• Background in machine learning or forecasting is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Must be able to work remotely or from either Warsaw or Munich.
