This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Oversee all facets of group bookings, encompassing reservations and onboard activities.
• Act as the main contact for group leaders, providing assistance with inquiries or special requests.
• Plan and manage group events, ensuring that every logistical detail is executed seamlessly.
• Collaborate with various ship departments (such as Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Entertainment) to fulfill group requirements.
• Address any last-minute changes or challenges, delivering effective and timely solutions.
• Aid in the distribution of welcome packages, event itineraries, and promotional materials to group members.
• Keep accurate records of group activities, requests, and special needs.
• Ensure adherence to all guest service standards and procedures.
• Serve as a bridge between group clients and shipboard teams to facilitate smooth communication and coordination.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the overall experience of group members.
• Support pre-cruise planning by liaising with group leaders regarding onboard expectations and requirements.
• Monitor and refresh group accounts and reservations, ensuring accuracy and current information.
• Prepare for arrivals by managing cabin assignments and special requests for group guests.
• Handle VIP group requests, offering enhanced services to high-profile group guests.
• Gather and respond to feedback from group leaders and members to continually enhance service delivery.
• Prior experience in group coordination, event planning, or a similar position, ideally within a cruise ship environment.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to multitask and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
• Proficient in computer systems, including reservation software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
