This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Define and spearhead the product vision, strategy, roadmap, OKRs, and success metrics for the Core Services team.
β’ Collaborate with leaders in Engineering, Architecture, and Data to influence direction, navigate technical and business trade-offs, and prioritize investments effectively.
β’ Oversee the orchestration layer of Core Services, encompassing systems, services, and data flows.
β’ Identify and promote reusable services, APIs, workflows, and data capabilities that minimize duplication and expedite delivery.
β’ Champion the adoption of shared services through onboarding, enablement, documentation, and change management initiatives.
β’ Establish and track platform health metrics, such as adoption, usage, reliability, performance, and return on investment.
β’ Lead and nurture a high-performing team of Product Managers.
β’ Align Product, Engineering, Data, Design, and business stakeholders with the platform vision.
β’ Identify and utilize AI-enabled capabilities and workflows to enhance product velocity and quality.
β’ Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence through retrospectives, learning, coaching, and process refinement.
β’ Proven experience managing platform, infrastructure, API, developer tooling, data platforms, or other highly technical products.
β’ Strong technical knowledge in distributed systems, platform architecture, service-oriented design, cloud or infrastructure concepts, and data foundations.
β’ Ability to outline product strategy, derive requirements, analyze trade-offs, and prioritize investments across multiple teams.
β’ Experience in translating complex technical platform investments into quantifiable business outcomes.
β’ Significant people leadership experience, including guiding Product Managers and talent development.
β’ Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
β’ Strong business acumen, including business-case development and trade-off evaluation.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data-related field, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience through education and relevant work.
β’ Over 8 years of experience in product management.
β’ A minimum of 2 years leading product teams at the Group level or higher.
