This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee both short- and long-term global P&L for the DEWALT construction hand tools portfolio.
• Enhance working capital turns and drive business expansion with innovative products.
• Guide cross-functional teams through the New Product Development Process.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain departments.
• Formulate product and market strategies aimed at fostering growth and profitability.
• Create category product strategies and pinpoint projects necessary for their execution.
• Work with international teams to uncover significant global growth prospects.
• Assess market trends and customer requirements; develop and implement product roadmaps.
• Create and present operating plans; monitor, forecast, and report monthly product financial performance.
• Conduct Voice of Customer visits to confirm end-user needs, product CTQs, testing, and claims.
• Steer NPD programs from ideation to commercialization.
• Articulate product differentiation, positioning, and value proposition to external stakeholders.
• Implement productivity and cost-reduction strategies while maintaining customer-valued features.
• Ensure adherence to product development processes and milestone/phase-gate commitments.
• Develop brand and product positioning strategies alongside profitability goals.
• Manage, develop, and mentor a team of Product Managers.
• Take ownership of product planning, definition, data delivery, financial modeling, and complexity management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA is advantageous.
• Over 7 years of experience in Product Management, ideally in consumer products.
• More than 3 years of management experience.
• Experience in direct collaboration with retailers or large customers.
• Familiarity with a matrixed reporting structure and/or a global organization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Capability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong project management expertise.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (15%).
