This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the daily operational performance, action plans, battle cards, and key KPIs for assigned clients.
• Act as the main senior operational contact for clients.
• Convert client requirements, issues, and requests into prioritized operational actions and execution strategies.
• Recognize operational risks and performance patterns and direct corrective measures accordingly.
• Guarantee precise reporting, consolidated performance insights, and clear status updates.
• Lead operational efforts for domestic clients within assigned accounts.
• Analyze dashboards and performance data to detect trends, risks, and deficiencies.
• Implement corrective action plans to enhance results.
• Enhance operational efficiency and reimbursement optimization through standardization, alignment of workflows, issue triage, and collaborative efforts across functions.
• Ensure uniform execution standards across teams and client portfolios.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with client operational stakeholders.
• Take ownership of and escalate significant operational risks, providing timelines and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, payer relations, technology, and strategic client management teams.
• Ensure execution aligns with contractual obligations, billing standards, and service-level agreements.
• Stay informed about hospital billing systems, government payer programs, reimbursement policies, and regulations.
• Uphold the confidentiality of patient and client information.
• Attend necessary meetings and remain updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Supervise customer invoicing accuracy and assist with monthly invoicing processes.
• Recruit, screen, and select candidates for positions.
• Onboard new hires and ensure appropriate hiring strategies are in place.
• Manage performance evaluations, feedback, and reviews.
• Keep job descriptions current and maintain accurate staff records.
• Contribute to organizational development and training initiatives.
• Mentor, guide, and coach direct reports.
• Communicate corporate matters and enforce internal policies and procedures.
• Adhere to employment laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in hospital revenue cycle operations, showcasing leadership in billing and collections functions.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance regulations, reimbursement practices, coding interfaces, and automated billing workflows.
• Proven capability to lead complex issue resolution, systemic root-cause analysis, and corrective actions across multiple teams.
• Excellent executive-level communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Comfortable interpreting reports from multiple sources.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Over 5 years of Medicare hospital billing experience with demonstrated expertise in dealing with government payers.
• Preferred: Experience supporting various hospital billing platforms and/or EHR/RCM systems (e.g., Thrive, Epic, Cerner).
• Preferred: Advanced experience in revenue cycle analytics, including KPI governance, trend analysis, and executive reporting.
• Preferred: Previous experience in senior operational leadership, client escalations, service recovery, and cross-functional governance.
• Preferred: Experience overseeing invoicing processes, validating contract compliance, and operational performance frameworks.
