This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation of content for various projects and contribute to strategic planning.
• Independently generate strategic, high-quality, and medically accurate content for medical communication resources across diverse therapeutic areas.
• Work collaboratively with internal team members to produce content that aligns with client objectives.
• Analyze project briefs and timelines, assign team members, and participate in kick-off meetings.
• Assess content for scientific validity and suitability for the project.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in content development and provide guidance on strategic or client-related considerations.
• Directly engage with clients on strategy and content-related medical, legal, and regulatory issues.
• Discuss medical content with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and managed care clients.
• Organize and allocate resources in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Supervise a team of 2–4 medical writers and/or scientific associates.
• Create and monitor individual development plans while offering timely feedback.
• Support new business initiatives, target product profiles, and competitive analyses.
• Attend and present at business pitch meetings.
• Uphold and promote Precision Principles.
• BA/BS degree in life sciences.
• BA/BS degree in English, complemented by experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications firm, or healthcare advertising.
• 5–7 years of experience within the medical communication, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare sectors.
• Proficiency in American Medical Association (AMA) style.
• Strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent proficiency in scientific search engines, including PubMed and Google Scholar.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• High analytical capability.
• Exceptional self-management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for a range of managed care audiences.
• Capacity to prioritize projects with tight deadlines while managing competing client priorities.
